Resources

The Church Properties Initiative commands a unique perspective of church owned property around the world. We encounter the challenges of growth dioceses struggling to build schools and parishes fast enough and the opportunities that arise from excess property in dioceses marked by demographic contraction. As a leading research university, various colleges and departments on campus can help us interpret and articulate the wide ranging scope of questions that church leaders face when it comes to property.

Beyond our high caliber academic research, we provide resources that have applied merit as well such as case studies, white papers, working groups, and student engagement to help leaders on the ground use our work to maximize their property and its missional impact. Attending our conferences or exploring our digital library offer even more avenues for various stakeholders to engage more deeply with our work at Notre Dame and apply it to a local context.

    Case Studies

Through our case studies, we provide details on projects that have the potential to be replicated across the country, and even the world, allowing church leaders everywhere to share in the hard-earned knowledge of various real estate projects.
