What do you do in your free time? "I like to go to daily Mass and take walks around the lakes."

What other extracuricular activities are you involved in? "I am in the marching band, and I play the trumpet."

Why CPI? "I am interested in finding ways for real estate in America to benefit working-class communities, whether through the construction of more affordable houses so every family can partake in the American dream, the development of community centers to connect families in an age of isolation, or the creation of outdoor recreation spaces so children can always have a place to have fun."

Which CPI project has been the most interesting? "I worked on a project where I gathered different affordable housing ordinances, laws, and regulations that made it easier for faith-based and religious organizations to set up affordable housing units on their land. I thought it was interesting because of the different mechanisms and approaches various communities employed to ensure everyone has access to a home. These types of laws are part of a legislative movement called “Yes in God’s Backyard” (YIGBY), and as a Catholic I respect the work of this movement immensely."

What are your career aspirations? "After my time here at Notre Dame, I would like to attend law school."
