Madeline Johnson
CPI Program Director, Term Assistant Teaching Professor
Madeline G. Johnson is program director for the Fitzgerald Institute for Real Estate Church Properties Initiative at the University of Notre Dame. On campus, Madeline holds a term assistant teaching appointment with the Business Ethics and Society Program and is a faculty affiliate of the Sheedy Family Program in Economy, Enterprise, and Society. Before joining the FIRE team in 2022, she was a research analyst in capital markets at commercial real estate firm CBRE, supporting a team of office and industrial investment sales brokers. A native of Minneapolis, Madeline graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in philosophy from Hillsdale College in 2017 and earned a Master of Urban Planning degree in 2020 from McGill University in Montreal, where her research focused on adaptive shared use of space in historic urban Catholic parishes. She is an alumna of the French Embassy's Teaching Assistant Program in France (TAPIF).
