Student Research Opportunities

Undergraduate and graduate students interested in applying their academic discipline in a unique, impactful way can apply to join the Church Properties Initiative's team of paid research assistants. Opportunities exist for students to work during the school year or over the summer.

Research assistants bring a variety of skills, including data entry, analytics, and visualization; effective written and visual communication; and most importantly, curiosity, critical thinking, and a collaborative spirit. Student research assistants have contributed significantly to case studies, faculty and doctoral research projects, engagement with the downtown South Bend faith community, CPI's Adaptive Reuse Database, and other ongoing CPI research projects.
